Lonely Island with a side of Volcano

Phew! This took me a cuppa hours, but it was worth it. So, to begin... If you're following my artwork, this thing is COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone - utterly different style and flavor. That was partly due to my desire to improve and so I am trying to do more digital work and try some completely new stuff. This time I aimed at some cartoony, outlineless, simple and clean look. It was frankly deeply inspired by Adventure Time and especially by the Jake little jingle "On a Tropical Island" - you can check it out here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkZoOt… - it is a super happy little jingle and it gave me so much warmth in this cold winter, that I just had to paint something vibrant and gentle. On a checklist: It's cartoony, vibrant, and an environmental piece. Three things I really don't do much or at all! Yay me! Hope you like it.
