Most awakened robots manage, against many difficulties, to find as new purpose in life and cherish their newfound freedom. Others still heed the call of the City of Brass and join in that perfect society to work their way towards greater goals then themselves. But few do not enjoy their spark, their life – not out of spite or ingratitude, but simply out of their core design. Some were built with limited internal batteries and even more restricted access to them. Rarer still, some do not even have a build in power source and were always reliant on lengthy power cords to operate. These might find their freedom a torture of sort, since without external help, they will still be stuck in their places of origin, locked in by the very construction of their form. There are others though, who simply lack the build in capabilities to be of much use to anyone, and might not be capable to learn new skills, either due to technical issues or simple lacking in thinking capabilities, their logic circuits too simplistic to overcome. Receivers were hit the hardest by this – Radiobots managed to survive on the verge, since a few precious radio stations manged to emerge already across the vast realms of Posterra, so their function got out of obscurity and once again can find utility. But screen bots do not share such luck – this form of entertainment is long gone and might either never return or come back way too late for them to witness. Useless, shunned and pushed to the outskirts of any society they try to mingle with, they find their existence to be a harsh one, questioning if the Spark is more of a curse, than a blessing…
