The dark vastness of the cosmos hides more bizarre, terrible beings than we can even beging to phatom. Some of them are so monstrous in scope and magnitude that they escape our notions of border of life. Lu-Kthu might just fit into that category. A planet, made and knit from putrid flesh, from muscles the size of mountains, from guts and entrails longer than spans of continents. This abhorrent sphere of flesh and blood is alive in most grotesque way, pulsing with countless hearts, glistening with oils and sweats… Truly an image made in the mind of a madmen, delirious and unsavoury. And yet, it exist, somewhere in the depth of space it orbits a star nourishing it with light, harbouring pustules, tiny in scale to its own being and yet, each of the pusture carry inside it a larva of the Great Old one, nurturing it into maturity. Once it is born it will rupture from it’s disgusting birth sack and flee away uncaring for it’s “mother”.
