Some terrifying creatures adopt uncanny habits to survive, to hunt, to lure their prey. We all know about deep see fish dangling a globe of light in the darkness, we know about spiders digging holes and setting traps. There are beasts that mimic voices of crying and wailing, and there are wraiths that can craft gossamer illusions. And then, there are the Parksters, the Hermit Horrors… The Tomfoolers. This terrible monsters that scorn the touch of the sunlight display an aptitude towards peculiar form of mimicry, finding forgotten places of joy and entertainment to claim as their lair, hiding the bult of their organs inside the broken shells of ancient toys and machines, adopting their wrecks as a safety measure as well as camouflage that blends them to their ruined, ramshackle environments. From there they can slither on their sprouting legs and nimble scything talons, moving quietly from spot to spot, easily clinging to walls and ceilings as they slowly, steadily prowl after anyone foolish enough to find themselves in their territory. However if the place they pick as their lair is too deserted, these peculiar creatures will leave to relocate to a new place where they will shed their old camouflage to find a new, more suitable for their new spot.
