Bonejacks are not dangerous, despite their brutish and scary looks. Sure, these strange semi-alive constructs of sinew, bones and mortified flesh seem unholy at first, reeking of death and clacking their bones with each motion, but they are not hunters of the living or predators in any sense. They are, at worst, a pest - skulking through graveyards and mausoleums, picking up bones of the long gone to add to their ever-growing forms until they become too big, too heavy to move, changing into monuments of osseous matter and stink of old rot. How they are made, no one knows. Some speculate they are remnants of some ancient and forgotten conflict of wizards. Other point out one of the many risen and fallen empires of the undead. It matters naught, though.. When you see a Bonejack just leave it be and I assure you, it will return the favor with blissful ignorance towards us, the living.
