There is a story about an ancient cities. One, Ib, was a seemingly peaceful settlement of the Thuum’ha, the Voiceless One - a race of amphibian humanoids, which, some scholars claim, are nothing more than a different name to the Deep Ones. Which might be true, but when Deep Ones nowaday praise and offer themselves in the name of Father Dagon, this Voiceless One gave worship to Bokrug, the Great Water Lizard, the mighty lake guardian and deity to their people. And then, there was Sarnath, an ancient city of humanity. Humans weren’t too keen on sharing the lake with the lanky, fishlike Thuum’ha and decided to slaughter them completely. To add insult to injury, they also stole the idol of the great old one. And that sealed their doom, for when it was stolen, the lizard stirred... Thousand years later it arose from the waters with titanic ire and destroyed Sarnath so completely that not even ruins remained to tell the stories of its people. Soon the Thuum’ha returned and rebuild, claiming
