INKTOBER 2017 - First Week

Hello! First week of Inktober passed and it was quite fulfilling. Finally I managed to deliver a piece for every single day and hope to keep it up for the entirety of the challenge. As for this year, I decided to focus on two things to practice - Discipline and pen brushes. Discipline comes from everyday attempt to deliver a piece atop all the other work and projects I participate in. Pen Brushes, well... I bought myself a set and decided to really drop the Technical Pens to get that fluid, organic line that a brush can deliver. Also, it's fun, it's a new tool and there is no better opportunity to do so than Inktober. Slowly it becomes my favorite tool, the pen brush.

As for themes, there are two - Cuter, Whimsy Ilustration and Eldritch Horror. On one day I do the cute stuff, on the other the monsters and alien gods and Cthulhu mythos.
