Marsh Sentinel

Number Four on my Daily Abomination challenge, in which I paint a new monster every day, spending max 1 hour of work on each. The piece below came from a simple sketch I did some time ago on a post-it note, an idea for a forest gnoll covered in compost and various woodland detritus. Ultimately it turned out into a Wendigo / Leshen kind of beast.
