It is said that this race cannot die if age and - given favorable circumstances - can keep on growing and growing to truly titanic sizes. Father Dagon might just be a truly ancient and colossal Deep One from eras long forgotten. Alternatively, Star Spawn are known to pick capable specimens of other species and cultivate their growth into powerful beings for reasons unknown. No matter the origins, Dagon truly became a horrific beast of great power and a fearful god to his people.
