There are many cults of the fallen empires in the ruined realms of Posterra, and it hard to not see why. Ancient colossus of immense power still roams the land, remnants of the forgotten civilizations, which grasp on technology and arcane far surpasses everything we know today. Ruins of forbidden empires that managed to transcend to a higher plane of existence, as the legends proclaim. Weaponry found in the Sea of Acids that, despite their corrosion and corruption, were impossibly potent artefacts of might and despair. No wonder many cults and organizations nowadays find new purpose in digging such ancient miracles up, finding or conjuring uses for the scraps of tech and knowledge they can barely imagine comprehending. Nonetheless, they scour the lands far and wide, finding, unearthing and indexing a slough of detritus, debris and rare morsels of true technology, playing the impossible game of assembling a picture from a trillion puzzles.
