#26 – Hive Exterminator

The cities of the Underempire crisscross the realms and form the widest and yet most consolidated kingdom in all of Posterra. They are organized, they work with fervour of zealots to the cause and their society used the unique aptitudes of their citizens well. Soon the great hidden empire will be ready to emerge and claim the surface from the bickering lesser species that litter the topside with their silly little feuds and bloodsheds. There is however one foe that still remains a danger too potent and too erratic to eradicate – Dreadwake and the tide of nimbus madness. They found though a temporary solution that, so far, proved quite capable – encasing any sign of corruption within strong resin. And so the Exterminator Cadre was made, highly mobile response unit that exist sorely to find out any spots in the empire dominion that show signs of the Dreadwake mutagening, fractal corruption to blast it with the hot ooze of their resin guns, letting the changed and transformer be locked forever in their translucent prisons of glistening crystals. One day the Underempire will have to find a proper way to destroy them, to find a solution to the stockpiles of extremely dangerous imprisoned tidbits and morsel of living madness. For now though, this will do, and the sight of an exterminator squad puts the citizens at ease… While still, sadly, reminding them of that most insidious of threats.
