MONSTERMONTH No.12 - Arcane

In the city of artificers magic is looked upon from a very utilitarian perspective. It is merely fuel, a flummox of energies to tame and shape for the real work ahead - crafting of arcane tech, the miraculous engineering of the great Guild of Magitek. Every apprentice who studies under a skilled tinkerer needs to prove their mettle via forging a custom familiar for themselves. This custom is both a Guild tradition since time immemorial as well as a practical test of all the knowledge and skills that are expected of novice artificers to display in order to become a journeyman.
