061 – Spudaiymon

In the bygone age of high magic the wizarding community was growing in every possible way, exploring new magicks, devising fresh spells and crafting completely innovative schools of the arcane arts. Some however were merely brief trends that would be all but forgotten if not for the marks they left upon the face of the ruined realms. One of such misshapen idea was Vegan Demonology – an art of infusing fruit and vegetables with the angry, seething spirits of the cruel demons plucked by force of the rituals to be bound into the plants. Then, using their diabolical powers they would possess the produce to transform into spiteful creatures of evil intent and self-loathing. Packed with low cunning, maleficence and plenty of fibre, these were used sparingly as shock troopers in the Towers Wars and thanks to them being highly nutritious, they fell quick prey to the hungry forced of otherworldly beasts and constructs that roamed the sizzling battlefields of the high magic conflicts. But of course some linger still to this day, undying, powered by the hateful spirits, they managed to hold together, escape destruction by hungry predators and now roam the dark corners of the realms to attack unwary prey and offer it one of the more shameful death of being destroyed by a living vegetable…
