Irish Pot Luck by NETENTanyw

Irish Pot Luck was the latest projects I was engaged in as an artist in Netent - working mostly on the game symbols ideation and animations. The game was a very fresh theme - bright, colorful with classic Irish theme basking in gold and greens. Main idea was to make a naughtier, rowdier counterpart to NETENT icon - Finn, from the Finn and the Swirly Spin. Ultimately we went our own way but still managed to unify our character and look with that game aesthetics, yet giving the game its own style and flavour. | All Art and Assets are property of NETENT.

First batch fo symbols were designed to test the waters of 'Irish Theme' for the game before we locked down the idea of a brighter, colorful setting.

When the style shifted to a more stylized, colorful atmosphere we experimented with the medium symbols based on various celtic knots.

Ultimately the celtic knots, while striking, lack the ease of readability and description, and so we turned to a more standing out symbols that fit the game theme.

All accepted symbols in their pre-polishing state. Ultimately we decided to go with standard card suit low symbols for clarity and to give med symbols more power to stand out.

Big win ideation - we wanted to incorporate beer into the game in a cheerful fashion. Two mugs smashin' each other to spill the foam all over the screen and display the big win message! It was very kinetic and striking.
