Posterra Vol.3 - The Forgotten

The Forgotten – or so it calls itself, is a figure of far-fetched myths across the ruined realms. With many pretentious yet portentous names given by the many tribes. Lawbringer, Loremaster, the All-Seeing Sentinel, and so on. They hold, of course, a kernel of truth, for the Forgotten is imperishable and utterly untouched by the teeth of time. It is possible that he was here, when the globe was made, but it is merely a speculation, for he does not share his knowledge with anyone. Many pilgrimage to his supposed great archive only to be turned away by the legendary maze that is the foyer to his scriptorium. Many seeks to gain even a glimpse of insight into his great and endless mind. It is said that he sees all, knows all and remember all. It is hard to acertain how true such claims are, for the Forgotten is rather elusive to the mortals and it is quite easy to say that he might even display a modicum of contempt to us all. Perhaps he is disappointed? I can imagine an immortal entity watching the struggles of countless civilizations always ending in tragedy and cataclysms that most likely they brought upon themselves could turn jaded and hard shelled. Perhaps we are not worthy of knowing the past. Or merely not ready for it…
