INKTOBER '20 #11 - Disgusting

The Other. Creations of magic, beings wrought to existence by the arcane storms of the past ages, where magic was thick upon the air and mighty wizards ruled the lands with their delightful insanity, waging outrageously hilarious and phantasmal wars from their titanic towers, from which they send forth their uncanny armies and cast murderous spells. But such age came to an end, like any other, and yet their creations survived in great throngs and some remain to this day, often shunned by most tribes and feared by the folk. But once again, Wharf Town shows it’s trump card – if you are willing to help the city, the city will welcome you, no matter your past and without looking at your hideous shape. And so, Ugleus came to be the town renowned… baker. Sure, he might be made of toxic ooze and crafted from souls of a dozen unfortunate adventurers, but he is his own entity now, and he found that fluid body, ability to really multitask and focus on each task paired with his passion make him a stellar baker – swift, creative and beloved by many due to his manifold charity actions, where he gives back to the community. Of course many at first had a bit of a hesitant approach when it came to buying bread from a dripping acid goo monster, but once they tried his pumpernickel all the fears vanished, and Ugleus became yet another example of the superior policy of the mayor, proving once and for all that anyone can be a worthy citizen, no matter their origin.
