Most Awoken has at least a good grasp of their capabilities. While being freed from the dreadful loops of their programming, they still know of it and therefore understand the purpose they were built for. It is a helpful memory, as it allows them to both possess a certain set of skills as well as easily access the data responsible for their more basic functions, like movement, responses and if they ever had a voicebox, the sweet gift of speech. Mr. K is however one of the very few abnormal, whose awakening was so violent, so potent, that it either wiped the previous program from his storage or frizzled his wetware to a point, where it was utterly inaccessible. And so, he woke to his sapience and new life not unlike a newborn, completely void of any useful memories or innate skills. He had to learn everything from scratch – how to operate his pistons and rotors, how to force fluids to course through his internals, how to engage his vision. Everything was a new experience to Mr. K, and once he learned it all, he became something of a mystic, a robo-priest of no religion, but rather wisdom and peaceful zen he offers to anyone who will listen. Stories of self-discovery. Lesson about inward focus. Teaching about building yourself up from nothing.
