MONSTERMONTH No.3 - Avian

The Baron, as the locals in the villages surrounding the dreaded Thorn Forest claim, was once human. None agrees though on what exactly transformed him into a massive, unearthly beast of feathers, claws and dull, dark bone. Some claim a witches curse, others divine punishment for his many crimes, yet another’s story claims it is his reward for some terrible deeds done in the name of blasphemous gods. Whichever is true, matters not. The reality is simple - if you enter the perpetual shadow of the forest, the Baron will find you and hunt you like a prey that you are to him now. And the local villagers will only hear the shrill cry of the beast, it’s triumphant song.
