So here he is! The dreaded Alien Vampire Mage Elephant from different dimension, reality, space or whatnot. A proper old school horror - familiar, yet different, a bit kitschy, but still will tear you apart in a glory display of dominance and power. When I went to redesign this bad boy the idea was simple at first. I just wanted to get rid of the landscape oriented artworks in the book. But of course once I sat down to work on this I had a plethora of new notions to work with and wanted him to be more humanoid and yet more alien. Elephantine in some aspect, but definitely not animal based. Something that radiates raw eldritch power in both it's brusque physicality as well as possible magical potency. And something that will still give a silhouette and general feel of 'hey, look, it's a elephant man thing' said casually by soon-to-be-victim of the said monstrocity. I am quite content with how it shaped out and can't wait to redo the other two victims of my bad early decisions.
