Yhoundeh, the Elk Goddess

Deep in the vast forests of the evergreen firs and spruces, under the thick cover of snow, gods walk upon the Earth. It is, after all, a time when they still persist, still looking for a way out of this tiny globe, teeming with primitive, simpleton life of mortals. They got bound hereby ancient enemies, powerful as they are, but more cunning it seems, triumphant in the end. And yet, the Great Ones survived, too strong, too imperishable in their forms to be simply undone. When the Elders were unable to shatter them, they opted for the other sensible solution - imprisonment. Scattered across the vast universe, bound to various stellar objects, locked in tombs, enshrined by arcane rituals and strands of primordial magic. And so, without purpose, they stride the Earth, their uncanny manifestations a poison to minds of feeble mortals bound to a laughable spectrum of four dimensions.
