I love Eldrazi. I am a casual MTG player for quite some time, and Zendikar with the Eldrazis is one of my most favorite sets in the recent Magic history. It should be no surprise to those who follow my artworks, as Lovecraftian mythos and the tasty aesthetics of otherwordly, cosmic horror is my Comfort Zone for drawing and painting. And Eldrazi are exactly that, just in Magic: The Gathering setting and blend of tastes. They are creatures unbound by laws of physics and reality, all of them merely shades and shards and mutated growths of their 'mothers and fathers', the Titans, the only true Three Eldrazi - Emrakul, Ulamog and Kozilek. I love the design of this mighty beings that reside in the cold emptiness between the planes. I like how every single one of them have different but coherent effect on the reality arounds them, how they spawn and mutate other beings in crazy ways, yet they always display some unifying factor for which you can guess which Titan made them...
